The final few

A terrible week in terms of working out! I didn’t have a session on Sunday as I knew I’d still be recovering from my 40th over the weekend – I also still had friends in town and wanted to spend Sunday with them. After Sunday Randy was going on holiday for 2 weeks. I told him I’d continue exercising while he was away. I didn’t have yoga on Monday either as I had a full house…

I was so exhausted after 5 days of drinking that I was starting to feel jetlagged. I was in a daze until Thursday, having only had 1 alcohol-free day out of 8 (Tuesday). I eventually made it to the gym on Saturday. I went with the intention of walking on the treadmill for 30 minutes, which I thought would be better than nothing. After that I did two sets of lower body exercises and abs.

I did walk around the mall for a while on Thursday and we went to Safa Park that evening, so that might count for something!

Low point of the week? Doing hardly any exercise and eating (and drinking) really badly.

High point of the week? Erm… I can’t think of anything related to fitness and weight loss!

Weight loss? Nope. Weight gain of 1 kg after an extremely heavy weekend!

Oh, wait...

Oh, wait…

  1. It happens to us all at some point. The remedy can start tomorrow.

  2. I recently published a book with ideas on “Therapeutic Hunger” it is now available at Amazon . It might be very useful for physical and mental health gains.
