Aries

The High Priestess is about knowledge that you need and that can be revealed. This knowledge is beyond logic. You must access and trust your intuition if you hope to understand it – relaxation and meditation are the ways to do this. Refrain from action for a while and instead take the time to search within yourself for the wisdom you need to move on. It could also mark the beginning of a spiritual journey. On a mundane level, it suggests sharing knowledge and not keeping secrets. This week, pay attention to the world around you. Look out for any signs or synchronicities and what they are telling you.

Taurus

The Hermit is about seeking the truth. Your truth. You need to withdraw from a situation for a time. Use this time to review all your knowledge, understanding and experience. When you figure out how it all works together, you will have the answer you need. Be careful that your solitude is not you hiding away from a situation or that you are hiding because you’re too proud to ask for help.

Gemini

The Hierophant often represents learning with experts or knowledgeable teachers. This card also stands for institutions and their values. It is a symbol of the need to conform to rules or fixed situations. The Teacher can show that you are struggling with a force that is not innovative, free-spirited or individual. Groups can be enriching or stifling, depending on circumstances. Sometimes we need to follow a program or embrace tradition; at other times, we need to trust ourselves. Listen to what people have to say, but keep an open mind and take only what resonates with you.

Cancer

The 7 of Cups represents having too many choices, all of which seem very appealing to you. You are spending time dreaming about them, imagining what each would be like. Still, you cannot pick one. This card includes a hint that might help. You are drawn to these choices emotionally. Set aside those emotions for a moment and invite a little reason into the picture. While emotionally appealing, some of the choices may not be good for you. Choose wisely.

Leo

The Lovers represents a choice to be made. More importantly, it represents different ways to make decisions. When this card comes up, you are being asked to consider carefully how you make the important decision before you. Do you follow your heart? Do you do what makes sense? This card suggests that there’s a way to marry the head and heart so that wise, balanced decisions can be made. Weigh up the consequences of each of the choices before making your decision.

Virgo

The 6 of Cups is a card of sweetness, kindness and innocence. It holds memories of happy times in the past. It can represent a time of sweet simple joys or it can be something larger. Perhaps a passionate pursuit or beloved creative endeavor that you let go of will return to your life. It could be a sign of someone from your past whom you would welcome back into your life.

Libra

The 7 of Pentacles tells you to take a break. You’ve done all you can do for now. Just like the farmer who has planted, weeded and watered, you must wait for time to do the rest. You cannot force it. This card indicates that your careful efforts, planning, resourcefulness and research will pay off. When the harvest comes, it will be a good one.

Scorpio

With the 7 of Wands, someone or something has put a block in your path. Before you can move forward and continue on your journey, you have to face a challenge. You need to be brave, strong and confident. This is not a fight to ignore; there is too much at stake. You cannot afford to give up and must defend yourself.

Sagittarius

The Knight of Pentacles is like a bulldog – once he bites down, he won’t let go. He’s dogged in pursuit of his goals. He’s a hard worker, has tremendous stamina and is dedicated. Every job is completed down to the last detail. On the other hand, this Knight can be stodgy and dull. He’s not known for his playful sense of humor. Work always comes first and he can be inflexible and obsessive about little details. He refuses to give in, even when he’s wrong (which he’ll never admit). At this time, ask yourself whether this Knight’s energy is helping or hurting you – try to find a happy medium between his two extremes.

Capricorn

The 9 of Wands implies that you are tired. Exhausted, in fact. You can’t imagine going on one more step. But you are encouraged to do so. Not only are you almost there, but you have the strength to get there. Tap into that core of determination you have and make that final push. All that you’ve set out to achieve is just within your grasp.

Aquarius

The Sun brings a simple message of joy. After traveling through the long, dark night of soul searching, you emerge into the light. All your journeys, all your spiritual seeking, all your sincere efforts now pay off. You are able to see where you were and where you now stand. Your mind is clear and sharp. Energy fills you and you are ready to let the light of the sun warm you. This card brings great joy, clear truth and well-deserved success. It also indicates music or science or anything requiring sound reasoning and logic.

Pisces

In the face of troubling events, the Star offers guidance. As you emerge from troubled waters, you’ll find clear signs showing you the way forward. Now is the time to stop focusing on what has happened in the past and look instead to the future. The universe is telling you a transformation is at hand. You just need to reach out and take it. Though you may not see it, something beautiful is going to come out of whatever heartache or loss you’ve had to endure. Ask the universe for what you want and then let go. Trust it will provide.
