King of Wands – being creative – having natural artistic ability, being original and inventive; be inspiring – communicating enthusiasm, instilling confidence; being forceful – having a commanding presence, carrying authority naturally; being charistmatic – magnetically attracting others, naturally becoming the focus of attention; being bold – daring to stand and be different, being unconcerned with what others think



The Sun – becoming enlightened – finding the sense behind the chaos, having an intellectual breakthrough; experiencing greatness – becoming the centre of attention, shining forth brilliantly; feeling vitality – getting charged up, enjoying great health; having assurance – feeling free and expansive, knowing you can succeed



The Devil – experiencing bondage – being obsessed, submitting to another; focusing on the material – being caught up in appearances, forgetting the spiritual; staying in ignorance – being unaware, choosing to stay in the dark; feeling hopeless – thinking negatively, lacking faith, foreseeing a bleak future



Ace of Swords – using mental force – being objective, analysing the situation, thinking your way through; having fortitude – facing problems, finding the strength to overcome, resolving a situation; seeking justice – righting a wrong, championing a cause, doing what is right; proceeding with truth – cutting through confusion, having clear understanding, being honest



3 of Swords – feeling heartbreak – suffering emotional pain, hurting inside, receiving little solace; feeling lonely – being separated, being deserted in your time of need, feeling isolated from those you love; experiencing betrayal – being let down, breaking your word, getting stabbed in the back
