My holiday is over and I leave London this evening with a heavy heart.
Why?
- I seem to have lost a good friend and I don’t know how to fix it. I don’t want to leave with things the way they are but I have no choice
- While I love my life in Dubai, being in London has made me realise how much I miss my friends. The TV show ‘Cheers’ had it right: sometimes you want to go where everybody knows your name
- I didn’t go to Arirang (gasp!)
- I don’t know when I’ll be back
I did have a great holiday though – if I’d known London was so much fun to visit I’d have left years ago!
I’ll relive it as I write about it when I get back home.
And to those readers who know me really well: yes, I did agonise over whether to hyphenate ‘relive’!
