While I was in London the newspapers had a design facelift but the content hasn’t improved.

Here are a couple of other things I’ve noticed in the last couple of weeks.
The crossword usually has ‘Cryptic’ clues and ‘Quick’ clues, but on Friday they printed:

At the supermarket: I’m pretty sure they mean ‘Chocolate bars’, but they could just as well mean ‘bar of chocolates’? I doubt it though.
Did you know that the English translation of the French word tampon is inking pad or rubber stamp? Now, that’s unfortunate.
