I had a Sunday session with Randy after a two-week break. I’d been in Vietnam for a few days and was supposed to have a session with him the day after I’d returned but I was so exhausted and could barely walk after spending 4 nights in heels!
I started with 5 minutes on the cross-trainer and then did the following circuit:
- Kettlebell swings (6 kg) x 50 seconds
- Rest x 10 seconds
- Push-ups x 50 seconds
- Rest x 10 seconds
- Abdominal leg raises x 50 seconds
- Rest x 10 seconds
- Ladder (stepping in and out) x 50 seconds
- Rest
I did that circuit three times and then spent 3 minutes on the cross-trainer. After some water and a short rest, I did the next circuit:
- Squat press x 50 seconds
- Rest x 10 seconds
- Stair climbers x 50 seconds
- Rest x 10 seconds
- Ladder (stepping in and out sideways) x 50 seconds
- Rest x 10 seconds
- Plank x 50 seconds
- Rest
Randy then stretched out my lower body and I was done.
That was the only exercise I did all week. Later on Sunday afternoon I had to have minor surgery on my eyelid and wasn’t able to exercise the rest of the week.
Low point of the week? Only working out once.
High point of the week? Finally getting my eye sorted out.
Weight loss? None – in fact I put on 1 kg during the week…

Love the quote at the end. If we can imagine what we want, we can make it happen.
